Description
The combination of spectinomycin and erythromycin acts synergistic and in some cases additive.
Spectinomycin acts bacteriostatic or bacteriocidal, depending on the dose, against mainly,
Gram- negative bacteria like Camph ylobacter, E. coli, Mycoplasma and, Salmonella spp.,
Erythro mycin is macrolide antibiotic bacteriostatic against mainly Gram positive bacteria like
Camphylobacter, Mycoplas ma, Pasteurella, Staphylococcus, streptococcus ad, Surpulina spp.
Indication
Poultry: CRD, CCRD, Colibacillosis, Fowl cholera, Purollum disease, Fowl typhoid,
Swine: Pneumonia, Coli bacillosis, Enterititis, Respiratory tract infections
Dosage & Administration
For oral route
Poultry: Administer 0.25 % of drinking water solution.
Swine: Administer orally 0.4g of this drug per 10kg B.W. dissolved in drinking water or mix
with feed at rate of 10g this drug per 10kg of feed and Administer the mixture.
Storage and expiry date
1) Store in an airtight container at dry room temperature (1 to 30o C) protect from light.
2) 24 months from date of manufacture

l Withdrawal period: Poultry, Swine: 7 days
