Description
Amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic penicillin possessing a broad spectrum of anti- microbial activity.
It acts bactericid ally against a number of Gram positive and negative microorganism, particularly against E. coli, Streptococcus spp., Pasteurella spp. salmonella spp. Bordetella bronchiceptica, Staphylococcus and others.
Indication
For the treatment of bacterial diseases caused by micro-organisms susceptible to Amoxicillin.
a. Micro-organisms susceptible to Amoxicillin:
Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Pasteurella spp.,
Escherichia coli, Hemophilus spp., Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae
b. Calves(younger 5 months of age), swine: Pneumonia, Colibacillosis.
Dosage & Administration
Administer 0.25~0.5g of this drug per 10 Kg of b.w. mixed with feed or drinking water for 3~5 consecutive days

1) Store in an airtight container at room temperature (1-30¡É) protect from light.
2) 24 months from date of manufacture
Precaution
A. Do not administer to the following animal.
Do not use for animals with shock and hypersensitive response to this drug and Macrolide.
B. Side effects
- Penicillin antibiotics may cause diarrhea by inhibiting the intestinal normal bacterial flora and bring about
abdominal pain by gastroenteritis or colitis, digestive system abnormalities such as anorexia, watery
diarrhea or hemafecia, nausea and vomiting and etc.
- Overdosing penicillin may induce nervous system abnormalities such as convulsions and seizures and
hepatotoxicity.
C. Interaction
- Do not administer with concurrently for more than 5 days.
- Do not administer with macrolide (erythromycin), aminoglycoside, chloramphenicol, and tetracycline class of antibiotics concurrently.
- Gentamicin, bromelain and probenecid may increase its the efficacy.
D. Administration for pregnant, lactating, newborn, weanling and debilitating animals.
Do not administer to pregnant pig, breeding pigs and laying chickens.
E. Usage note
When administering by mixing with feed or drinking water, mix homogeneously to prevent from drug
accident and to achieve its efficacy.
F. Withdrawal period
Cattle: 20 days
Swine: 15 days
G. Precaution on storage
1. Store in a place where out of reach of children and animal to prevent safety accidents.
2. Observe the preservation instruction since it may bring about a change in effectiveness and stability.
3. Dispose the expired products without using it.
4. Use as soon as possible after opening, the rest of it should be sealed in the original packaging container
and store in a dry place protect from light.
5. Do not use used containers or wrapping paper for other purposes and discard it safely.
H. Other Precaution
1. It is for animal use, so never use it for human.
2. Consult with your veterinarian.
3. Use after reading the instruction notes sufficiently
4. Since safety and effectiveness other than the designated animal has not been established, do not use it
Arbitrarily.
5. Record all usage history for prevention of abuse and tolerance appearance.
6. Abuse and misuse may bring about economic loss such as drug accidents and remaining animal food
residues, observe the dosage & administration.
7. Do not administer with drugs containing the same ingredients concurrently.
8. If you are not in compliance with Withdrawal period, that may bring about remaining drugs in animal
foods, so accurately calculate and comply with withdrawal period after calculation time.
9. Wear gloves, masks, protective equipment during handling to avoid skin contact and inhalation.
10. Consult with doctor as soon as abnormality is found.
