Composition

Each kg contains

Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate........................................................................33.0 g (Act.)

Doxycycline Hyclate Hydrate....................................................................100.0 g (Act.)

 

Indication

Treatment of bacterial disease susceptible to Doxycycline and Tiamulin

1) Swine

- Mycoplasma hyopneumonia

2) Chickens

- Mycoplasma gallisepticum

 

Dosage & Administration

1) Swine

- Administered in the drinking water for five consecutive days at a dose level of 0.22g of this drug per Kg of body weight daily

 

2) Chickens

- Administered in the drinking water for five consecutive days

at a dose level of 0.5-1g of this drug per L of drinking water daily

 

Packaging unit

500g, 1kg, 5§¸, 10kg, 20§¸

Storage and expiry date

1) Store in an airtight container at dry room temperature (1 to 30o C) protected from light.

2) 24 months from date of manufacture

 

Precaution

 

1) Do not administer to the following affected animals.

Do not use to the animals with shock and hypersensitivity reactions to this drug and tetracycline antibiotics

2) Side Effects

- A light sensitive skin reaction may occur at the time of this administration.

- High-dose or long-term administration may cause a gastro intestinal disorders such as vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea

- High-dose or long-term administration may cause a skeletal growth disorder

-Tetracycline medication to young animals may cause discoloration of teeth and bones.

- Long-term administration of Tetracycline may cause overgrowth of insensitivity to bacteria and fungi.

 

3) Interaction

- Do not administer it together with Cephalosporins, penicillins, and other tetracycline antibiotics.

- Upon administration of mixture of it with the preparation containing antacids, kaolin, iron, magnesium, aluminum, calcium ions, the absorption of doxycycline may be reduced.

- Do not administer it together with anti-coccidum preparations of Monensin, Salinomycin and Narasin

- Tetracycline drugs may suppress plasma prothrombin activity, so use with caution in affected animals receiving anticoagulant treatment.

- Tetracycline drugs may increase kidney toxicity when combined with Methoxyflurance.

- Tetracycline drugs may further increase gastrointestinal side effects when used in conjunction with Theopyline continuously.

 

4) Administration during pregnant, feeding, newborn, young and debilitating animals

- Do not administer for egg laying chicken.

5) Usage notes

- In case of administering by mixing with drinking water, uniformly mix well and use,

if not homogeneously mixed, it may not achieve the accident of weakening or achieve the purpose of administration,

6) Withdrawal Period

- Swine: 7days

- Chickens: 6 days

7) Precaution on storage

- To prevent safety accidents, keep out of reach of children and an animal.

- Observe the preservation instruction since it may bring about a change in effectiveness and stability.

- Dispose the expired products without using it.

- Use as soon as possible after opening, the rest of it should be sealed in the original packaging container

and store in a dry place protect from light.

- Do not use used containers or wrapping paper safely and discard it for other purposes.
