Colistin Sulfate.............................................................................................100g
Description
Colistin is an antibiotic from the group of polymixines with a bacterial action against
G-negative bacteria like E. coli, Samonella.
Indication
For prevention and treatment of the following diseases susceptible to Colistin, growth promotion
and improvement of feed efficiency.
Chickens: Colibacillosis, pullorum, typhus
Swine: Colibacillosis, Salmonllosis, edema and etc.
Cattle: Bacterial diseases.
Dosage & Administration
Administer orally the following dose mixed with per 1 ton of feed.
A. Growth promotion and improvement of feed efficiency.
- Chickens
Early stage of Broiler and chick: 100g
Latter stage ofBroiler and breeder: 20-50g
- Swine
Pigling: 100-200g
Growing pigs: 50-100g
Porker: 20-50g
- Cattle: 50-200g
B. Prevent and treatment of bacterial diseases.
- Chickens, Cattle and Swine: 200-400g
Packaging unit
1㎏, 5㎏, 10㎏, 20㎏, 25㎏
Storage and expiry date
1) Store in an airtight container at dry room temperature (1 to 30o C) protected from light.
2) 24 months from date of manufacture
Precaution
A. General precaution
① Do not administer the following animals;
Do not use for animals who have shock and hypersensitivity reaction of this drug
② Usage note
Never mix with other medications not to occur efficacy and safety problems
③ Pregnant, nursing, newborn, weanling, debilitating animals
Do not administer to laying chickens
④ Withdrawal period
Cattle, swine and chicken - 7 days
B. Precaution on storage
① To prevent safety accidents, keep out of reach of children and an animal.
② Observe the preservation instruction since it may bring about a change in effectiveness and stability.
③ Dispose the expired products without using it.
④ Use as soon as possible after opening, the rest of it should be sealed in the original packaging container and store in a dry place protect from light.
⑤ Do not use used containers or wrapping paper for other purposes and discard it safely.
C. Other Precaution
① It is for animal use, so never use it for human.
② Consult with your veterinarian.
③ Since safety and effectiveness other than the designated animal has not been established, do not use it arbitrarily
