Description
The spectrum of bacitracins is described as broad, but it is used primarily to treat gram-positive infections. Resistance is rare. Bacitracins are often used in combination with neomycin and polymyxins to enhance the antibacterial spectrum.
Indication
For treatment and prevention of the following diseases caused by pathogenic bacteria susceptible to Bacitracin.
Promotion of growth, improvement of feed efficiency, prevention of stress, bacterial diseases such as streptococcicosis, Staphylococcal disease.
Dosage & Administration
Chicken
For promotion of growth, improvement of feed efficiency:
Administer 100-900g mixed with per M/T
For prevention of stress, bacterial diseases: Administer 1-2Kg mixed with per M/T
For treatment: Administer 2-9Kg mixed with per M/T
Swine
For promotion of growth, improvement of feed efficiency:
Administer 200-700g mixed with per M/T
For prevention of bacterial diseases: Administer 1-2Kg mixed with per M/T
For treatment: Administer 2 Kg mixed with per M/T
Cattle
Administer 100-700g mixed with per M/T

Storage and expiry date
1) Store in an airtight container at dry room temperature (1 to 30o C) protect from light.
2) 24 months from date of manufacture
